IT support with no contract, ever

Two Radiant Technology Solutions team members giving a thumbs up outdoors in Tarpon Springs, Florida

Most IT companies ask you to sign for one to three years before they have fixed a single thing. We ask for one month at a time. Here is exactly how that works, what it costs, and what happens if you ever decide to leave.

What is no contract IT support?

No contract IT support means you pay for managed IT one month at a time, with no multi-year term to buy your way out of. At Radiant you pay a flat monthly fee per device, get the same 24/7 help desk as everyone else, and can leave with notice and a full handover of passwords and documentation.

What you get

What do clients say we do better than their last IT company?

Fast response

Clients tell us we are faster than the last guys. Brian B. wrote on Google: “I love Radiant! Not only do they provide better value than my last MSP but their service is way quicker!”

Personal service

You deal with a team of 12 in Tarpon Springs who know your name and your network, from our Help Desk Wizard to our Tech Tamer.

No contracts

You stay because the IT works, not because a signature says so. That keeps us honest, and it keeps you in control.

The details

Why doesn't Radiant make you sign a contract?

Because a contract is a poor substitute for good service. Ron Slyker, our CEO, puts it plainly: “Rather than hold someone hostage in a contract we work to earn their business every month.”

That sentence shapes how the whole company runs. If a ticket sits, if a tech is rude, or if the bill feels wrong, you can walk, and we know it.

So we answer fast, we explain things in plain English, and we fix the cause instead of the symptom. Staying has to be the easy choice on its merits.

It also makes the first conversation simpler for you. You are not signing up for three years with strangers. You are trying us for a month, then deciding again next month.

What it costs

What sets your monthly price?

  • 1feePer device, per month. Projects quoted separately
  • 0Contracts to sign, on any plan

Radiant charges a flat monthly fee per device, so your bill grows and shrinks with your business. Three plans, Basic, Advanced, and Elite, add protection in layers, and our managed IT pricing page explains what each includes.

  • How many people and computers you have
  • How many servers and network devices, like firewalls and switches, we manage
  • How many office locations need support
  • Which plan fits your risk: Basic for everyday business, Advanced for law offices and bookkeepers, Elite for healthcare and financial firms
  • Add-ons such as DNS filtering, a secure client VPN, or backup for Microsoft 365, Google, and QuickBooks Online

You get a written per-device quote after your free network assessment, before you commit to anything.

How it works here

Why do most IT companies require 12 to 36 month contracts?

It is worth understanding, because the reasons are real and mostly financial. Knowing them helps you judge any IT company's terms, including ours.

First, onboarding costs money up front. Documenting a network, installing tools, and cleaning up old problems can take weeks of work before the first monthly payment covers it.

Second, many of the security and backup tools an IT company resells are bought on annual commitments. A long client contract matches the provider's own bill.

Third, contracted revenue is easier to borrow against and worth more when an IT company is sold. A book of three-year agreements looks safer to a bank or a buyer.

None of that makes contracts evil. It just means the contract protects the provider's plans, not your service. We chose to carry that risk ourselves and earn the renewal every month instead.

Beyond the help desk

What happens to your data, licenses, and passwords if you leave?

Your data is yours, full stop. Files, email, and backups belong to your business, and they stay with your business when we go.

Your Microsoft 365 account, your domain, and your software licenses should all sit in your company's name. We set them up that way from day one.

When you leave, you get an offboarding handover: every admin password, network diagrams, a device list, and notes on how things are built.

We also remove our monitoring and security agents, the small programs we install on each computer, on a schedule that leaves you covered until your new provider's tools are in place.

If you are moving to another IT company, we talk to them directly. It is the same courtesy we ask of the provider before us when a new client joins.

Before you sign anywhere, ask for the termination clause and the auto-renewal clause in writing. They tell you more than the sales deck.

How it works

How does month-to-month managed IT actually work?

Same process as any serious IT company, minus the lock-in. Here is what happens from the first call to your first invoice.

  1. Step-01

    Free network assessment

We walk your office, scan the network, and talk to your team about what keeps breaking. You get a plain report of what looks good and what needs attention.

  2. Step-02

    Written per-device quote

Your price is based on your users, computers, servers, network devices, and locations. You see it in writing before anything starts.

  3. Step-03

    Onboarding

In most cases we can start within a few days. We install our monitoring and security tools, document your systems, and coordinate with your current provider if you have one.

  4. Step-04

    Monthly billing

You get one flat monthly bill for your devices on the plan you chose. Add a new hire and the bill goes up by one device; retire one and it goes down.

  5. Step-05

    Regular reviews

Every quarter and every year we sit down with you to review what we fixed, what is aging, and what to budget for next.

  6. Step-06

    Leave any month

If it is not working, give notice and we hand everything over cleanly.

Is this you?

Is month-to-month managed IT right for you?

It is a strong fit if:

  • You run a business of roughly 20 to 50 people in Tampa Bay, from Tarpon Springs and Palm Harbor to Clearwater and Tampa.
  • You have been burned by an IT company you could not leave.
  • You are shopping for IT and do not want to bet three years on a sales call.
  • Your current contract is ending and you want to avoid signing another one.
  • You want a flat monthly fee per device and a 24/7 help desk, with on-site visits when something needs hands.

Frequently asked questions

What is the catch with no contract IT support?

The honest catch sits mostly with us: we have to keep earning it. For you, the trade-offs are small. Onboarding takes real work up front. Hardware and licenses you buy are paid separately. And because nobody is locked in, expect us to check in regularly on whether it is working.

Do your prices go up?

Your per-device rate is set in your written quote. Your bill moves when your device count moves, up when you hire and down when you shrink. If our rates ever change, you hear about it in writing first. Because you can leave any month, any change has to be one you would still accept.

Can Radiant drop us as a client?

Yes, month to month works both ways, and you should know that. In practice we would only end a relationship for reasons like unpaid invoices or a genuine mismatch in needs. If it happens, you get the same handover as any departing client: passwords, documentation, and time to move.

Is month-to-month managed IT more expensive than a contract?

Not with us, because there is no longer term on offer to compare against. You pay a flat monthly fee per device for your plan, with no buyout waiting at the end. Some providers do charge more without a term, so ask any company you compare whether the price changes if you decline their contract.

Who owns our licenses and data if we switch IT companies?

You should, and at Radiant you do. Your files, email, backups, and domain belong to your business, and we set up Microsoft 365 and software in your company's name. When you leave, we hand over admin passwords and documentation.

How do we get out of our current IT contract?

Start by reading the termination and auto-renewal clauses, and note the date by which you must give notice. Many contracts renew automatically if you miss that window. We can review the terms with you, plan the switch around your end date, and coordinate the handover with your current provider so nothing falls through the cracks.

Does month to month mean slower or lower-priority support?

No. Every Radiant client is month to month, so there is no group of contracted clients ahead of you in line. You get the same 24/7 help desk, the same monitoring, and the same on-site visits across Tampa Bay as every other client on your plan, whether you are in Dunedin or downtown Tampa.
